Windows 10 stuck in a bootloop after factory reset. I was able to stop it by booting from an external hdd that I was using as a recovery drive. I don't know much about PC's and would really appreciate it if someone could help me fix whatever is wrong on the main hard drive and make it my main boot drive again.
I've looked at a couple forums but most of them cover copies of win 10 that have recently been updated or systems that have an hdd and ssd or hybrid drives, neither of these are the case on my system, it's a relatively new windows 10 system with only an hdd.
Thanks

Hi there Epitaph95,

My suggestion would be to try to run a start up repair.(you will need to boot from the OS CD - adjust boot order in BIOS)
If this does not work, then I believe you will need to reinstall OS.

On another PC, download win 10 from Here and use that to make a win 10 installer on USB or DVD

I agree with above, though best option after a failed full reset is a full install as its essentially same thing
change boot order in PC so USB or DVD first, hdd second
boot from installer and follow this: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/1950-windows-10-clean-install.html

when you get to screen asking for licence, click either skip or "I don't have a key" and win 10 will activate on reinstall. When you upgraded to win 10 you got a digital entitlement on that pc, whenever it has win 10 installed on it again the activation will be auto.

it will wipe entire drive so if there is anything on hdd you want to keep, try this before the above: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/use-ubuntu-live-cd-to-backup-files-from-your-dead-windows-computer/
