Windows 10 Files vanishing .... Saying Folder Is Empty

I am having problem in windows 10 it started 1 day ago.
i am using WD Caviar green 1 Tb ( WindowS) and 3 Tb Hard disk ( Secondary D: Drive where files are present and missing)

the problem is that my wallpaper folders some of them are showing empty while they are not
only 1 file is present desktop.ini otherwise it shows empty and 0 bytes!

Tried:
I have show hidden files selected, show operating files selected!
also tried customize the folder to default
have avira antivirus ran and malwarebytes ran and cleaned!
used avg pc tuneup to clean my pc!
Avg disk doctor check and no errors!
Avg Drive Defrag suggested C: Drive not recommended D: Drive heavily fragmented to run defrag which i am now doing!

Temporary Solution:
Strangely however if u save a picture by using firefox and opening facebook then going to a page and save a picture using save image as then selecting the wallpaper folder and subfolders all files show and even if i right click and open them through browser file explorer all files return back but the previous files which are present there before vanishes away....

example if i have a folder having 300 files in it and rest 600 files not showing then if i save my picture through browser rest 600 comes back but the new 300 vanishes away

I DO not wtf is going on this is giving me anxiety and headache !

Kindly suggest me a solution this is first time something happened to me

Sounds like all your problems are coming from your browser. Have you tried testing if the same problem occurs if you use another browser? Why not uninstall Firefox and reinstalling it? Could it be one of your addons... do you have any download plugins installed?

i cannot access files from inside the hard disk file explorer D drive some of my folders are empty and some files missing!
i have latest firefox installed and have internet download manager installed also!
i do not think browser is an issue because i copy pasted some pictures from mobile and put it inside one of wallpaper folder its still showing empty but if i use save image as from the browser file comes back in the browser save image window only but not the d: drive ...
