Directx 12 vs 11

Hello!
What is the difference between directx 11 supported gpu and directx 12 supported gpu? Can a Dx11 gpu run Dx12 games? I saw specs of Nvidia 750 ti and Radeon R7 360, with the latter supporting DX12. Is the 360 a better option then?

Directx 12 gpu are backwards compatible with directx 11. You can not run DX12 applications with anything older than DX12 supported gpus.
You would be better off holding for the RX460 which ultimately will be faster than either cards.
