As a rule of thumb, Nvidia Quadro card is superior in 3D modeling but not great for playing latest games. Professional cards are designed to crunch millions of polygons of complex models on the fly. That is the value of Pro GPU.
Most of the game cards are designed to render completed build models with scene or backgrounds on the fly.
My Quadro 4000 (old pro card) excel on 3D modeling and plays lots of games with poor frame rate (under 30 FPS). It can't play newest games.
MY Nvidia GTX 780 Ti (game card) plays Overwatch, Total War Shogun II, Doom and newest games over 100 FPS, However, It performs poorly on 3D modeling use OpenGl 4.5 driver. I then switched to Direct X 10 &11 drivers. But is worse. with DX 10 and DX11. My model produced so many artifacts, it's impossible to continue to model. Something Quadro card handled at ease.
