Why is people are afraid of awnsering the password reset on ubuntu correctly here?

we're not afraid... It's just against the rules of this forum to provide help cracking passwords. we can't verify ownership of the computer.

They have to physically be there and boot it in a special mode for it. Its not like all version of windows where they can be harvested and changed remotely via web scripts. So I don't understand it. but its the rules here.

you do have a point vrumor, But that is why I would post a link to that form instead of answer it here. but answering it as " I can't help you" isn't really an answer is it?

I'll make this simple. Tom's Hardware rules prohibit either asking for or providing help with password issues, this includes links. Violating these rules may invoke sanctions upon all accounts involved.
