Brand new XPS 15, "plugged in not charging"?

Just got a brand new, Dell XPS 15. Apparently I'm not the only person to have the "plugged in not charging" problem. I've already tried to update the driver in the control panel, but it was up to date. Any help? I really don't want to have to send this thing back. I should add that the computer is not charging at all, even when turned off. I've left it plugged in during use, and the charge level is not decreasing.
