So i click on the battlefield 4 icon on my taskbar, it launches chrome, i find a server, my computer goes thru all the necessary tasks to join said server, the web client displays a (what should be good) message saying "playing battlefield 4 on pc" yet nothing, the game has not launched at all. Yet if i launch task manager, theres battlefield 4 and the web client, taking up the usual couple gigs of ram, i have no idea whats caused this issue, but its getting extremely annoying very quickly.

Solution
Find BF4WebHelper.exe in your install directory, and run it as admin. Do the same to the x86 version instead if you run the x86 version of the game.

-- Right click your battlefield4 Exe, Mine is displayed as "bf4" or "bf4_x86" and enter properties. Once you're there, enter the compatibility tab at the top.

-- After that, click the box and ensure you've UNSELECTED "run this program in compatibility mode", and UNSELECT "run this program...
