Can I upgrade windows 8 to 10 from an iso meant for 8.1?

Previously, I created an iso from the upgrade that windows downloaded during the upgrade from windows 8.1 to 10. The upgrade was successful and I am currently running windows 10. But after some damage to my system from viruses, I want to reset my laptop to windows 8 (which came preinstalled with it). My question is, can i use the iso to upgrade windows 8 to windows 10?

Yes. When you upgraded to win 10 you got a digital entitlement which means you can always install win 10 on that PC again. I would download a new ISO as that would give you the latest version of win 10 that was released last week as a feature upgrade.
