DVI-I Video card and DVI-D[M]> HDMI [F] adapter - are they compatible?

This is the adapter which i want to buy, my graphics card is Asus EAH4850 [2x DVI-I]
If it's working, what resolution am i limited to [e.g. 1080 60hz ]?

But yes, adapter will work and 1080p@60Hz also will be supported.

There is nothing wrong with the link, it's just the auto shortener doesn't like brackets []. You can press the bb button to get the full link but it's just a passive dvi to hdmi adapter. The max should be single link so 1200p/60.

Op is here to get help and may not know how our auto shortener works which is unique to tom's so is understandable to not know. Maybe they don't even know bbcode well enough to fix it. It's their business to get help, not be a forum guru.

ok, sorry if im stupid ant didnt notice the clear answer, so just one last question
i have this gpu with dvi-i and i want to use dvi-d>hdmi adapter on the card, if i plug everything including hdmi cable to the monitor i can use 1920x1200 @60fps? how about the audio integrated?
no broken pins w hile dvi-i connection accepts dvi-d adapter?

DVI-I connector on graphics card will accept DVI-D->HDMI adapter, yes.
But there will be no audio signal, since DVI-I doesn't have it.
