Should I get an IPS 60Hz 1440p, or a 144Hz 1080p TN given my use?

I am putting together a list of parts for a future PC upgrade, and have gotten to an issue regarding monitors, now I know this is a much debated topic, but I figure it might be best if I give as much information as I can in order to allow y'all to help me chose.

I am quite unfamiliar with anything above 1080p or above 60hz, and just by playing with an at store display i don't think i got enough to decide outside 1.07 billion colors is Really Pretty (sparing you all caps) and higher hz is , hey it...I can't tell...can someone but a really fast paced game in this?

■The specific IPS I am currently looking at is a BenQ Gw2765HT
■My budget is $370 USD max-absolute,under $290 preferred,
■AMD RX 480 is the Graphics Card
■A requirement of the monitor is DisplayPort compatible.

the games i play most(according to steam) is:
TF2, FFXIII, Civ V(extremely modded...too many mods...like 50GB of mods...), Planetside 2, and emulated GC games(dolphin).

No, I was thinking the same thing about the RX-480 but Boy I was wrong. Right now I'm rocking this boy with a 1440p 144hz monitor and it works great. Seriously, I think you have underestimated the power of the RX-480

Solved own issue by way of hardware: an RX480 most likely wont be able to use the TN to its fullest (or even above 75hz), and what i liked was the color contrast not necessarily the colors displayable cool...how do i close this?
