29" Widescreen or 34" Widescreen or 2 x 24"

Hi

I am thinking about getting a new monitor(s) and have no idea if i should get a single widescreen monitor or 2 smaller monitors. I would be using the monitor for gaming and general use however i am not fussed about higher refresh rates as the sort of games i play are skyrim, fallout, etc.

My current pc specs are:

CPU: Intel Core i5 6600k (Soon to be overclocked)
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 970
RAM: 32GB 2666MHz HyperX Fury DDR4
Motherboard: Asus Z170-A

My second question is if i were to get a 34" widescreen rather than a 29" would i be able to run it while playing games with a gtx 970 or would i have to upgrade(i dont mind playing games on medium settings)

Depends if the bezel is think or not. x2 24" could be good. Your GPU should be able to handle all of the screen on medium-high. Refresh rate is not really matter unless you play first person shooter type of game

I would go with wide screen. Multi monitor setup is great for 3 or more monitors.
