I have been using a 19 inch Samsung 1440 x900 for awhile now. I was wondering if you think the leap from 1440 to 1920 is worth the money. Here are my specs

AMD GPU-FX-6300
GeForce GTX 970 EVGA SSC ACX 2.0 4GB Edition
8GB of ram
Windows 10

Solution
1.
For GTX970+FX6300, you would want to look at 1080p monitors.
The size for 1080p would be between 23-27".
2.
You would want to take a look only at 60Hz IPS all-rounder monitors and 144Hz TN gaming monitors.
Ignore any 60Hz TN junk.

The jump from non-fullHD monitor e.e. 1440x900 to fullHD 1920x1080 monitor is big. Jumping from 19" to 24" or 27" is also big.
If you have the money, definitely go for it.
You would need something between USD140-300 (in US) for good 1080p monitors.

Combine point 1 and 2 with your budget to get the best suited monitors for your need.

Are you satisfied with your current experience? Does your space support a larger monitor? Are you willing to throw $100-300 at a new monitor?

I doubt a 19" 1080p monitor would improve things that much, but a 23" may be a significant improvement if you have the space for one. Unfortunately, I'm not an expert in the monitor realm and don't have a ton of recommendations.
