2nd monitor won't show/work.

Hi! I recently bought myself two BenQ GW2470's and have a problem regarding getting them both to work. One, my main is connected via HDMI in the graphics card, and the other with DisplayPort. How come they both won't show up in my control panel?

right click desktop to open up your display settings.
You will see that the second monitor is disabled by default.
Set it to "extend desktop to this display"
You can also change order and orientation from there.

Nope, there's only one monitor showing up there...

Do they work individually? Use them each one at a time to diagnose the Monitor, Cables, and Ports. You should be able to get all monitors working on all ports with all cables, if you can't, that will tell us which part is bad.

Yes, they work individually when connected with HDMI. Ony the one that goes to the HDMI port is having picture. DisplayPort isn't working at all.

Reading the specs, it says the monitors have hdmi input and vga.

I might assume you are using a dp to hdmi adapter of some sort.
What is your graphics card?
A cheaper passive adapter might not work with your graphics card.

Correct, input on the monitors are VGA and HDMI, I use an MSI GTX 960 GPU, which has 3 DisplayPort, 1 HDMI and 1 DVI inputs.
