How to use TP-Link TL-WA500G in Repeater Mode with TP-Link TD-W8970?

Hi guys, I am rookie in networking, dont know anything about it. I've "TP-LINK 54M Wireless Access Point TL-WA500G" and "TP-LINK TD-W8970 300Mbps Wireless N Gigabit ADSL2+ Modem Router".

I'm trying to use TL-WA500G into Repeater mode with TD-W8970

but its not working, after going into Repeater mode, in "Security Settings" the "WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK" option is not enbaling.

Any idea how to make to make this work?

According to the TP-Link support page, only WEP is supported in Repeater mode unfortunately.

Six operation modes are supported here, including Access Point, Client, Repeater, Universal Repeater and Bridge. Here are the security types which different operation modes can support.

1)AP mode:WEP, WPA/WPA2, WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK
2)Client mode:WEP, WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK
3)Repeater mode:WEP
4)Universal Repeater mode:WEP
5)Bridge mode:WEP
