Hey guys, simple question.

Looking to buy 2 monitors (of the same kind) for a dual monitor set up.

Just wanted opinions on some options

*Note: The moniters need to have DVI connector, I think, so that I can make it happen.

1. ASUS VS228 [here] $89.99 for 21 inch or $109.99 for 23 inch.

2. ACER KN24HYL [here] $109.99 for 23.8 inch

3. ACER H6 Series H226HQL [here] $127.99 for 21.5 inch.

4. Viewsonic 23 inch [here] for $140.00

5. ACER R240HY [here] $130.00 for 23.8 inch

Any opinions? Anyone have anything better?

Ideally, I'd only spend $90-$110, but willing to go a bit higher if we think there is a major difference in quality.

Thanks.

Hi man, I too have been looking at monitors at this price point, and for me I'm still deciding between the Acer R240HY and the Dell U2412H.

RH240Y: https://www.amazon.com/Acer-R240HY-bidx-23-8-Inch-Wides...

From my research it seems both of these are decent budget panels, the Dell having a higher build quality and price, and the Acer being cheap, but having a bad stand and no vesa mount support.

Out of the list in your post I would say the R240HY is likely to be the best option if you don't mind about the possibility of back light bleed. It has super thing bezels ideal for a muli-monitor setup and you might as well get a pretty IPS panel if your not looking to get...

Sorry I can't give you a definite answer as I haven't bought either of these monitors yet, but I hope this can at least narrow down your search a bit.
