Monitor not receiving signal (intermittent) upon startup

I have upgraded my graphics card to a MSI GTX 960. Since my upgrade, my monitor will (on occasion) be black: "no signal" on startup. After hitting the power button and turning it back on a few times (typically between 3-5 times) it will work just fine.
I have tried re-seating my card, checking power supply issues, drivers, changing cables, changing monitors, different ports, etc.
Any help would be SUPER appreciated.

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
8gb G. Skill Sniper
Cooler Master 700w PSU
MSI GTX 960
Samsung 850 SSD 120gb (OS Win 10, 64bit)
Seagate Barracuda 2tb HDD

if problem only started after you got the card & happens to other monitors then the video card is causing it. return it for warranty replacement.
