Aced Laptop won't move past load screen.

Hello, this is my first post on here so I don't know if it's in the right thread or anything so if it isn't, my apologies.

This problem started after I "installed updates and shut down my laptop." The next time I tried to use it, I tried to login and it wouldn't move past that. I typed in my password and it's as if it's still trying to determine whether my pass. is correct. The little spinner just keeps on spinning and spinning. I've tried turning it off and turning it back on but it just shows the initial Acer screen then it goes to the same screen that I just described. I've also tried turning it off then turning it back on and repeatedly pressing the F8 key as it was turning on. This didn't work. Similarly, I tried turning it off, and back on and as it's turning on I held down the shift key while repeatedly pressing the F8 key. Both had the same result as just turning it off then back on.

Any ideas would be helpful, thanks in advance.

It looks like the most recent updates are the culprit.

To start with, you can Externally Boot Windows in Safe Mode and then uninstall any updates that were installed since the problem started.
