All apps and live tiles question. Build 14393.0

Not liking the "all apps" being automatically expanded. What's happened to the box of letters and numbers you open to search for apps?

I'm also missing a lot of apps in the live tile area of the start menu that I had in my previous install.

Some include: phone companion, Money, News, Sport, Travel, Maps and camera.

the all apps thing is part of the update, i don't use start enough to worry about it.

as for missing apps, give it time,. store will populate your apps soon enough. Helps if you logon to your Microsoft account through the store

I found some of the apps that have previously been in the tile display in the all apps section. Some of the tiles have updated or gone live now that I've logged into the store but still no Money or Sport apps and some others I think.

You could probably download them from the store, otherwise they will come to you over next few days. The timing of these things is mysterious.

My minds a bit boggled, have finished installing Win 10, where to next? Is it important to make sure all the correct drivers are installed?

How do I check on what drivers Windows has installed for motherboard drivers?

Asus aren't that specific with their driver packs. If you look in settings/update & security/windows update/update history you may find a file with AMD at start of it, that is the Asus Motherboard Drivers pack (For so long I always wondered why I had AMD drivers on an Intel PC. It dawned on me last year).

Doesn't AI Suite have an update driver function now?

Otherwise go to Asus web site and chack the drivers there against what you have installed. Check if new version of AI Suite at very least.

No AMD folder showing anywhere, I had it on my last install and wondered what it was too. Have installed latest AI Suite but no driver update that I can see. How do I verify what chipset drivers are installed? They're probably the most important...

i just answered the last question in that thread just as it was merged so I will try again

To ID chipset:
right click start
choose device manager
choose system devices
find Intel (R) Z97 Chipset controller
right click it and choose properties
open driver tab and check version number

I don't have any Z97 Chipset controller, guess I better install the Asus chipset drivers...
