I was using a dual display setup with my old 660ti which died recently. It was card with a dvi-i and dvi-d port and I was using 2 dvi to hdmi connectors because neither of the hdmi slots worked on the card for some reason. I was using clone mode to watch netflix on the tv. It worked fine until the card died obviously.
I bought a gtx 970 which also has the same types of dvi ports as well as an hdmi and some other type of connection i am unfamiliar with. I plugged it in the same way on this card and both monitors show up on nvidia control panel however there is no display on the tv. I switched the dvi ports and still nothing, then I tried swaping to one dvi to hdmi and an hdmi going to my tv, then reversed that so the hdmi was going to my monitor and the dvi to hdmi going to the tv, still nothing.
My OS is W10 pro x64 and I was using it for both cards. I have no idea what is going on, the only thing I can think of is maybe the tv is for some reason to old for the card?
