Lost Windows 10...when restore

I have Windows 10...did a factory reset...completely forgot the computer was a Windows 8 originally with free download of Windows 10. Now it reverted to Windows 8...and Windows 10 is no longer free. Is there anything I can do?

It came with win 8
You Upgraded to Win 10
It was activated?

If yes to the above, no problem.
You can reinstall Win 10.

With the MediaCreation tool from MS, you can create you own Win 10 install media.
Since this system has already been Upgraded to Win 10 and activated (?), the system details are already registered at Microsoft.
It will activate.
