Best HDD partitioning for 500 GB

Hi guys! I've bought a new Notebook and it has a 500 GB HDD. It has FreeDOS and I'm going to install Windows 10. The problem is that I don't know how I should partition my 500 GB HDD.

I will use this Notebook JUST for Web Design.
Photoshop, HTML, CSS, JavaScript

What are your tips? Thanks!

do you just want 10 on there or two OS? if just win 10, boot from USB and do a custom install: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/1950-windows-10-clean-install.html

if you want both, you really need to have win 10 on first and then install other as its tricky to get bootloader working the other way

to answer question, if you clean install win 10 will create its own partitions, it needs unallocated space to install onto but its all shown at step 13 of guide.

I will have just Win 10. I know how to install it but I don't know how I should partition it...how much GB for C, how much GB for D....As I said, I will use this Notebook JUST for Web Design.

Is there a reason you want more that one partition? If not let Win10 do it's thing. It will set up a restore partition etc.

I don't know. I will use Photoshop and I will create website projects...

One single partition. Let the Windows install do what it needs.

There is zero reason to split off part of it for the OS, and part of it for applications.
You gain no benefit.
