144hz monitor and 60hz monitor help?

So I'm looking to buy a 144hz monitor now that my build is completely done and I will just be upgrading it over time. I also want to replace my crappy vga emachine monitor which doesn't correctly display colors any as I'm using an adapter for my 1060 to dvi-d. So I do have a mircocenter near me and shipping and taxes don't matter to me. I can deal with those. I'm looking for a hdmi or dp 60hz monitor that can produce good colors and 21-24 inches is good. I just want one that will last and has a price tag of $130 at most but not preferred. Any 144hz monitor. There all tn panels from what I can tell looking around. I just want some support for me to buy a $250 144hz monitor and Asus looks like the favorite around. Any help is appreciated also only mircocenter and newegg and Amazon only please. Thanks.

For the 144hz I would recommend the Asus VG248QE, I have it and its a awesome monitor.

For the 60hz I think anything you can find on sale would be fine. This Asus seems really good and has excellent customer reviews.
