Okay so I'm looking for a new monitor now, so many choices have become available with 4k now its kinda insane. I'm not a professional designer yet but I'm still in school and I would like to upgrade from my old asus for 6 years ago. I've been looking at these two because of my budget stops at $1350. I want to have something that is a bit future proof but not as expensive as the NEC and Ezio monitors.

Thre options I have for now
Benq BL3201PH

Dell UP3216Q
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016IBVKNU/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

just threw this one in
Asus PA329Q

I currently have a GTX 970 an i7 3770 and 12gb of ram not sure if I should also upgrade my ram if I'm going to be doing some 4k editing to support one of these monitors. I'm assuming the 970 should okay but if not I would jump up to the 1080. Also I would game on this monitor but not hardcore, I play a few mmorpgs but I'm not a professional gamer or anything.

Also main usage of apps would be

Photoshop
Illustrator
After Effects and premier
3dmax

Asus PA329Q

has the better specs ,

14 bit color table ,

Color Saturation : 99.5% (Adobe RGB), 100% (Rec. 709), 100% (sRGB), 90% (DCI-P3), Rec. 2020 support

https://www.asus.com/Monitors/PA329Q/specifications/

The two others use 10 Bit color table ...

This might have been solved but not sure yet cause I ordered this monitor after really looking into the quality control and customer support of Asus. It seems like people say you are playing the lottery hoping for a good screen, although it seems like its a quality monitor except for the homogeneity. I will give it a test tomorrow I just don't have my own colorimeter yet.
