Dear community.

Dear community.

I have the ASUS H81M-K LGA1150 motherboard.
https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H81MK/specifications/

The RAM description says: "2 x DIMM, Max. 16GB, DDR3 1600/1333/1066 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory "

I would like to buy this RAM, beacuse it is very cheap:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/8GB-2x4GB-PC3-12800-DDR3-1600-Mhz-240Pin-8G-Ram-For-AMD-Desktop-DIMM-Memory-NEW-/222062609917?hash=item33b3f685fd:g:0C4AAOSw9uFW8o-Q

However the problem is they specify it as "AMD" only, while my motherboard is intel.
Is there more to this than just the advertising or am I missing something here?

I don't think I require low density memory for the ASUS H81M-K type of motherboard or am I wrong?

Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

Regards

The problem is that I have never heard of a DDR3 RAM module specific for either AMD or Intel, they are all the same architecture memory wise. Stay away from this as this could give you a huge headache. Better play safe and spend more on a brand that is known like Corsair, Kingston and alike.
