Hi there Abhishek_52,

There's a chance that the drive has failed/is failing. Is it recognized by BIOS?

If you have some important data stored on the drive, you can try to access it with some data recovery tool for DOS mode.

After that, in case you have an OS CD, you can try to run a startup repair.
If this doesn't help, you will need to test the drive somehow, so you can see what is wrong with it. You can do so the following ways:
- Just like in the data recovery case, you will need to use some HDD testing tool for DOS mode.(as your computer will not start)
- Take out the drive, attach it to a working system and use some OS based testing tool. Check these out...
