Hi All,

I am looking to build my own gaming PC. I currently have a HP Pavilion 500-329 Desktop PC. I have this as a budget gaming pc.

The Specs are in this link sorry guy i would have posted it all but it would have made the thread long. http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c04355693

So as i have quickly outgrown this computer in terms of gaming, I would now like to build my own Gaming PC. I am looking to spend no more then £900 on a set up. I am new to building computers so i dont have a clue what is compatible and that's my worry. I am looking to build a computer based on the following spec.

AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
MSI 970 GAMING ATX AM3+ Motherboard
Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
Seagate 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Hybrid Internal Hard Drive
MSI Radeon R9 390 8GB Video Card
CiT G Force Gaming Case with 15 LED Blue Front Fan - White
Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit
Corsair RMx 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

I am looking to build that computer. I was just wondering if all that will work together and is compatible. If not can you please suggest alternatives for me please?

I appreciate all the replies and I will get back to you. I am building this PC for forza Horizon 3 on max settings.

Best regards

It would work... Not crazy about the PSU, but it would be fine. With that said, the AMD AM3+ platform is effectively dead meaning there is no upgrade to be had or any future. You are better off with a comparable Intel setup like the one below. No need to overclock, less power draw / heat production, and you have an upgrade path in an i7.
