Hi internet,
i'm trying to connect 2 monitors to my laptop but it won't realy work.
my HP pavillion 15 (with R7 m260) has only 1 HDMI output so I bought an HDMI to VGA adapter and because i have to extra monitors i also bought a VGA Splitter.

still with me?
the problem is that both monitors show my desktop but my laptop only detects one monitor. so it's my laptop that shows a desktop and two monitors that show the same desktop (different from laptop tho) how do fix it so all three monitors show something different.

Solution
That's what a VGA splitter does - it allows one VGA signal to be shown on two screens at the same time. While there are several possible solutions, I would choose a USB 3.0 to HDMI (or DVI) adapter. These are powered, but so would any other solution that I know of be.
