What's a good 120/144 HZ monitor with a 1920x1080 resolution?

I want to buy one, but don't know which model. Also, if I'm playing a an older game at 1600x1200, will it still be 120 hz?

1600x1200 uses a different aspect ratio to 1920x1080, so you'll have black bars on the screen.

As for recommendations, the BenQ XL2411Z is my usual choice but it depends on your budget.

I know it has a different aspect ratio, but I will be playing a bunch of older games, and was curios to know if the high refresh rate would be available at the lower resolution.

The monitor seems good though, I'll look into purchasing it.
  3. The 144hz refresh rate should be supported at all resolutions. I've never known it to be otherwise.

I have another question. Does the monitor also support 120hz, or only 144hz? Some games go to 120, but not 144.

Do you have any recommendations on color profiles and settings in order to get the 11Z looking its best?
