time to upgrade gpu????

I know I have done a similar post awhile back but thinking its time to finally upgrade my gpu seems to not be running good anymore getting lags and is over heating on every game. my question is is the gtx 1070 worth the extra money or will the gtx 1060 be efficient enough to run most games on ultra with high frames? looking for a noticeable difference in performance
pc specs below

CPU: i5-4670
Motherboard: msi g87-41 pc mate
Memory: 8gb
GPU: zotac 760 2gb
PSU: 750w

GTX1060 is 4 tiers higher and will be a significant improvement.
It will do very well at 1080P resolution.
If you anticipate 1440P, look to the GTX1070.
If you have the budget, Buy the GTX1070 or you will forever wonder if you should have.

Just getting the 1070 would net much more frames per second, even in the long run. Maybe wait for another generation or two of Intel CPUs to upgrade your 4670.

I upgraded to the gtx 1060 and I am going to wait for nxt gen cpu. gpu upgrade was incredible
