Hi all.

So I'm planning to purchase a new laptop this month and I've decided to go for the Lenovo Ideapad Y700. The storage setup of the one I ordered is:

128GB SSD (boot drive)
500GB 5400rpm HDD

As you can see (well, at least for me) the boot SSD is too small. I'm going to buy a 250GB or 500GB SSD and a 1TB HDD but I have a problem with the OS.

I've searched on how to transfer an OS to another SSD on Google but most of the asked questions were different to my situation. Most of them had their OS installed on the HDD and wanted it to transfer to a new SSD, which is attached into the PC. Unlike theirs, my laptop already has an SSD with an OS installed and an HDD. I want to transfer the OS from the 128GB SSD to the ones that I bought separately.

This is what I was thinking: Migrate the OS from the 128GB to HDD, replace the SSD to the new one, then migrate from HDD to the new one. Is this doable? Or is there an easier way?

I hope you could understand my point. Cheers!
