Windows 10 install media and important files backed up on same drive?

Can a windows 10 install flash drive also contain a backup of important files, I want to reinstall windows 10 using a separate flash drive and format the computer's hard drive, can I also store a backup of files I want to keep on that flash drive to then transfer them after the reinstall?

I don't know, I can't find anything saying one way or the other.

My gut feeling is no, you would better using two USB as I think that would be safer. especially with back ups involved, Can never have too many flash drives.
