When my games freeze and the screen goes black, I have to hard reset, is there a way around this?

No matter what I press, like Ctrl+Alt+Del or whatever, the screen remains black and I have to hard reset.

Is there a way around this?

I would recommend:
- Turning all the game graphics settings down to low
- Installing all the latest drivers
- Check when playing games your CPU temperature
- Run some stress tests like: 3DMark and AIDA64
