I'm looking for a replacement SSD for my Vaio VPCZ21V9E. It currently has 2 * 128gb SSDs installed in a RAID0 array, I believe the model number of the SSD(s) is MZRPA256HMDR.

Preferably I would like just a single new SSD (as in no need for RAID).

I believe it uses a ribbon cable to attach and is 1.8".

I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for what to use, as I've never purchased/replaced a laptop SSD before.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Looks like your SSD uses what's called a LIF connector from what I can see in the pictures available online. So most any LIF SSD's should work for you. Just avoid any apple LIF SSDs as their LIF cable has two extra contacts and doesn't fit the normal cable. Something like this should work fine:

Ok thank you! I'll probably order this one as I don't need that much storage space on it (I have a main desktop too)
