Internal_Power_Error BSOD at random times

My PC keeps crashing at random times giving the error code "Internal_Power_Error". My PC temps are fine and drivers are up to date. I'm on a custom PC with an FX-6300 and an R9 270X. Help?

Ok not a terrible PSU, and could be the issue but a lot of times your GPU drivers can cause this. Do you have the latest AMD drivers for your GPU? If so you should try uninstalling them and running DDU

To clear them out, then re-install the newest drivers.

Sorry if this is a stupid question. But can you uninstall the drivers for a GPU that you are using?

Yes windows has generic drivers that allow it to still function in its most basic abilities.

I have done what you suggested only time will tell if it worked.

Ok at least we eliminated that issue. Next can you download and run memtest86 to test your memory and make sure its good?

You can put it on a USB thumb drive and boot from that.

If you don't have a USB drive you can probably burn it to a CD and boot from that.

Not sure every system is different. Not hours, if thats what you're wondering.

Was caused by an out of date storage driver.
