Windows 10 key On the Hub expired-issues help!

I recently built my first pc and installed windows 10 on my 1tb wd caviar blue drive. I purchased this key as an 8.1 pro and used it to update to windows10 since that's the only thing On the Hub sells for my dad's achemdemic association. After 15 days the key is not acessable, and I want to do a clean install onto my new solid state drove after the expiration date of the 15 days as well as the cut off for free upgrade to Windows 10. I re validated my key at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/vlacademicISO but it will only let me install Windows 8 now. I need windows 10. Please help!

Download the Windows 10 and it might work seeing as it saves your hardware config and if you upgraded with the same hardware to windows 10 before (except the SSD). https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10/
