Can you convert VGA to HDMI or DVI-D in a way?

So im getting the new gtx 1060 right, and i was checking the usual stuff when upgrading. I checked my power supply(which im upgrading so if anyone wants to help there too that would be nice), i check if my case is big enough, which is wasnt for the big ones so i have to get one of the small ones, and lastly if my moniter could use it. I found out that you cant use VGA on those. So i was wondering if anyone found a hdmi-VGa adapter. I found this one

but it is pretty expensive and i would like that money to go to the power supply. Does anyone know of a cheaper one that would work? preferably tested?

Converting HDMI to VGA can result in poor quality, fuzzy image etc. though. If you can afford it, I'd upgrade your monitor, even getting a better one second hand.
