Looking for a Laptop to play WoW maxed out at 1080p

Hey guys and gals

I'm looking to buy a Laptop to play World of Warcraft on, I'd like to be able to play it all maxed out at 1080p.

My budget is ~1000, the less I can spend the better though.

I really don't know laptop hardware at all so I defer to the experts at Tom's Hardware

hmm, their minimum has changed as my old PC wouldn't have been able to run it and at the time I got it, it was too good for WOW,, main reason I stopped playing it.

I would think any modern laptop can run WOW at 1080p but i know about as much about laptops as you do

Yeah one of the expansions upgraded a lot of the visuals so I guess the system requirements went up then.

It was 10 years ago, i knew it had changed since then as it wasn't very pretty back then

You either need to lower your quality expectations or raise your budget.

At top settings WOW will need a pretty good system, especially if you don't want huge FPS swings.

For under $1,000 you have the 960M cards which will handle WOW at a solid medium+ setting (say 7) with good FPS.
