As most peoole today do, due to it accessability. What full length movies online. My question is firstly is this illegal? Who's responsability is it to remove such content? And finally who is liable the website owner, uploader or the viewer?

Solution

that depends mostly to
A. the residency of the person watching the movie
B. the location of the server hosting the pirated material
C. the residency of the person uploading the material

depending on the location A, B & C can fall under completely different jurisdiction
while in some countries A is committing a crime, in other countries downloading a (pirated) movie isn't illegal at all, only the upload incriminates
the location of the server determines if the server hoster can be forced to...

the location of the server determines if the server hoster can be forced to remove content from the server through legal channel or if he can not
also C, in some countries there's kind of a witchhunt against uploaders, some countries tend to not care so much about this stuff at all

so it comes down to local laws and where they are applied.
all in all a pretty complex matter if you dig in deep

pretty good breakdown of it.

in the US, everyone is breaking the law. uploader, hoster and downloader if all are inside the US. that's why most sites are outside the US in more friendly countries. but the uploader and downloader in the US are still breaking the law. the owner of the material is the one who requests it be removed or an agent they have tasked with this. but a person hosting the files is supposed to know what they are hosting and "should" remove it themselves or they can be sued or even prosecuted. the owner of some large file hosting sites like mega-upload have been prosecuted for knowingly hosting pirated material.

Complete legal issue, depending on multiple factors. Primarily, locations.
Anywhere from 'no problem, do what you want'
to
'You may go to jail forever, or worse'

then there virus and other crap that can be dropped on your pc from these shady web sites or if you use a credit card to watch a movies to get a "user account" they may sell the info or steal the credit card. it not worth it as most of the new movies hit one or more video services now within a few weeks of them coming out. there are comp that are licensed to sell tech hardware and services for people that want high end movies at home.
