price drop? Dell s2716

Hello,
I want to buy Dell S2714DG + Geforce 1070, but price is around 1000$ for both. I can spend 1000$, but i feel it can be wrong. Should i wait for better price for these items and how long to wait? 3\6\12 month?
I have not upgraded monitor for 10 years and GPU for 5 years, so I dont know how to be.

well a monitor is something you can always enjoy even when not gaming and last for a long time.
I upgraded my monitor before getting my new GPU and honestly for me that was the biggest upgrade.
