Monitor completely shuts down after 10 seconds

My monitor has the power plug turned on, and vga cable in, it will turn on with display for a few seconds, and afterwards it completely shuts down, even the power light is turned off ,(meaning no electricity at all going through)

I tried with different cables and computers.. Any solution to this?

Its a 20Inch asus monitor TN panel

if uses a regular power cord like your computer does then there are 2 boards in that monitor, video controller & power board. the power board is causing the problem being the power light turns off. check for any domed or leaking capacitors on that board.
