Asus VG248QE Monitor, Half of screen is distorted.

I honestly can't think of what caused this seeing as I went to bed with the monitor fine and woke up to it being as it is. It hasn't not knocked around and hasn't fallen over in the time I've had it. It looks almost like half of the screen is colour negative and the pixle grid is very visible compared to the normal side.

The display itself seems to be the problem and not a cable or my GPU as the problem is present on the launch splash when the input cables are disconnected.

I will attempt contacting asus support later in the day but for now I have no clue what the problem is or what caused it.
