Are my fans speed controllable?

Hi I have a question. I bought some fans with 4 pins for the motherboard, not the power supply.
I mounted them plugged in the motherboard and started the computer. I started trying controlling the with SpeedFan but it haven't noticed a change in the RPM and my question is what program should i use for controlling my fan speeds, but not SpeedFan.

Many manufacturers of MBs have some kind of utility for control of components, see if yours has one.
Depending on MB, you can effect some control thru BIOS. Mostly tied to component temperature.

Yeah, I saw the easytune for my Gigabyte z170x gaming 5 mb and it is working perfectly. Thanks!

Yeah, speedfan is junk software from the year 2000.
Has literally never worked on any of my computers ever.
Rather use the Motherboard BIOS.
