Hi,

So I already have the Asus VG248QE. I've had it for a about a year or 2. The refresh rate is great but I also want picture quality and higher resolution. Instead of buying a $700 144hz 1440p monitor can I just save a few hundred bucks and get a 60hz 1440p monitor for all of my non multiplayer games? Games like the witcher 3, crysis, etc. Games that are mostly about the picture quality and less about the refresh rate.

Thanks

I would say thats a good solution, if you dont care about have 1440p in competitive games, which you probably wont care about much, and are fine with using 60hz with those non comparative games. Just know that many people feel a decent difference when going back to 60hz.
