How can i connect my desktop pc to my laptop to use as monitor if i cant see the desktop screen?

How can i connect my desktop pc to my laptop to use as monitor if i cant see the desktop screen?

This usually cannot be done as most laptops do not have video in; only video out. Video cannot go both ways on a video output connector.
