Upgrading CPU, MOBO and RAM. Suggestions?

Hi, I'm currently thinking about upgrading my PC since its coming to that time when an upgrade would benefit me greatly but I need some opinions. Since I am currently at college I cannot splash out loads of money on the upgrade.

This is my current rig:
FX-6300
GA-78LMT-USB3
8GB (4x2gb) HyperX Fury 1600Mhz
GTX 760 4GB Windforce 3x
EVGA 500W PSU
500GB Seagate Barracuda

My budget at the moment is around £300 (I have a little wiggle room) and I want to know your opinions on this upgrade:

i5-6500 - £175 (I do not intend to overclock so this seems to be the appropriate choice)
MSI Z170-A PRO - £85
HyperX Fury 8GB DDR4 2400Mhz (2x4gb) - £40
* Prices from Amazon, rounded the prices

Eventually when I have more money in hand I will upgrade to 16GB of RAM and then buy a new GPU (Will happily take you opinions on a new GPU too!)

Fire away with your advice since I could use it!

Great choices! I personally have that mobo and its great! I might suggest G.Skill Ripjaws V RAM for aesthetics over that, but there pretty much the same. Your choice. Good job!
