Okay so I have Asrock H81M-VG4 and I bought a new HDD 1TB 64mb cache 7200 rpmand I tried to install windows 10 ,8.1 and 7 via bootable USB and I just...don't get it..none worked..on windows 7 mu HDD didn't showed up in windows setup..Windows 8.1 didn't let me make a new partition and on windows 10 I kept reciving errors when tried to make partitions like "we couldnt create a new partition.[Error:0x800701e3]"
and "windows cannot be installed on this disk.This computer hardware may not support booting to this disk.Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled (it is) in the computer's BIOS menu." Sata mode selection is "AHCI".My HDD is pluged in sata_1.
So what is the problem?The hardware is new..the old one worked with both windows 7 and 10.The old one was 500gb 16mb cache and 7200rpm.I also installed windows on that HDD via the same usb.And it worked then.
