Is my Microsoft account linked to my product key?

I've been having issues with booting win 10 and I want to do a clean wipe.

I haven't used the win 10 installer before and wanted to know if my Microsoft account was linked to my product key so I can use that as my key to activate windows

Microsoft account is not liked to a product key but a fresh install will not harm your key for windows 10 is in a small partion in the drive as far as I know

It is only linked to your MS account if you did it.

But for a fresh install on the same hardware, you don't even have to worry about that. Your hardware is already known to the activation servers. You have a 'digital entitlement'.
Reinstall,. When it asks for the license key..."I don't have one"

When done and it is online, it will activate.
