This is just for the heack of it. I have no plans on actually doing this I was just wondering. Anyway, so I have a compaq deskprp 2000(the kind the monitor sits ontop of), I was wondering if I could maybe put a thin mini itx motherboard in there as a regular motherboard would not fit. I measured and the back I/o is 1.25 inches tall by 8.5 inches long. I do not know the case clearence off the top of my head. I know the expansion slots would not work as they would be facing the wrong way(a riser cable might work though) and that I could only have one with a thin mini itx board(It maybe could fit matx if you remove some expansion slots). Anyone have any ideas, tips comments, anything is welcome. Here are some pictures of what it looks like:

Thin Mini-ITX motherboards are for All-in-One systems. These systems were marketed with a lot of effort in 2013. They were never very popular but you still can find some cases for them.

I don't see any use for an old Compaq Deskpro 2000 case.
