RX 480 vs GTX 1060 vs GTX 1070 for 1080p gaming

my pc is i5 6600k. Z170 Krait Gaming 3x, 8GB ram



now i was thinking which one to buy for 1080P gaming,

GTX 1060 6GB or
RX 480 8gb (might buy another one if I save money for crossfire) or
GTX 1070 8GB?

I'm planning to keep this for maybe [strike]5 [/strike] 3 years, and I want it to be future proof for gaming (hopefully games will support dx12 or vulkan if I choose the RX 480)

the GTX 1060 is the best for 1080p @60+ FPS right now. if you really want to future proof your build then get the GTX 1070. the GTX 1060 will start getting weaker after 3 years as newer, more demanding titles come out.

Or get a RX480 4GB. It doesn't lose much to 6GB 1060 but can be considerably cheaper.

But then again, if you want to have a card for 5 years, which is very long for a GPU, then get the 1070.
