Laptop Model: ASUS X550JX

Issue: I have an external monitor and plan on using it, it would be powered by my laptop which is connected via VGA. I have changed settings to "Do Nothing" when the laptop lid is being closed and the screen turning off & sleep is all changed to "Never". However, despite me changing my settings and even creating a new power plan, my laptop goes to Sleep after about 15 minutes of the lid being closed. I am not idle when this happens, I am surfing the net, typing and moving my mouse. Everything is fine when the laptop lid is being kept open but I really want to close it due to space constraint. I have also set my monitor as "Main Display" and I only use the monitor so its a single screen display.

Yep, checked and its turned off. My computer is plugged in most of the time and battery saver cannot be enabled when the laptop is plugged in. Also, I unplugged my laptop and checked, battery saver is also not enabled when my laptop runs on battery.
